At 12:02am Maximum Overdrive was alerted.
He worried not of where this alert came from, it was natural for a machine to receive orders.
He received orders through a frequency of noise which he was always perfectly tuned to. The speakers on his boombox head lit up with color as he made his pre-boot checks.
Maximum Overdrive is aware of his purposes
- Greet visitors of the mall.
- Encourage patrons to buy more.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
- Correct any abnormalities in The Headline.
Tonight he was tasked with:

MxO first scanned the show stage for any sign of The Headline.
Negative
The Headline's location was pinging close to the clock tower.
Methodically, MxO moved through the tall hallways. Despite his rugged, "street" appearance, Maximum was certainly the more dignified of the two mascots. Maximum had a softer, more gentle voice. His lit up speakers also assisted in the more personable appearance.
Maximum Overdrive would receive another alert. A ping towards The Headlines new location. He was attempting to return to the Galaxy Zone his old home. Increasing his walking pace Maximum Overdrive proceeded towards the old indoor theme park.
MxO wasn't around for this place, but it was where The Headline came from, and for some reason he decided to try and visit that place again. Due to construction happening in the area, it would be too dangerous for valuable property to explore.
Approaching The Headline, Maximum Overdrive activated his speakers to earn The Headline's attention.
"Hello! It is time to go back home now, as you are aware this place is off limits for now."
"ITS COMING FROM INSIDE. I NEED TO GO IN. I NEED TO GO BACK."
"Sorry! I don't understand." Maximum Overdrive stepped towards The Headline extending his hand towards the dials on his television screen.
"WHO? ARE YOU?"
"I am Maximum Overdrive! Your bandmate on the bass, together you and I make a great musical team! I provide wonderful service to all patrons of the Clock Court Mall, and I am always happy to help."
"MAXIMUM, OVERDRIVE." The Headline's television was displaying rapid colors and images of the two mascots together. "WHO AM I?"
"You are The Headline! You have been operating on your new soundstage for quite some time now entertaining guests of all ages!"
Maximum Overdrive changed The Headline's channel dial one to the left.
"And it's time to go back home, friend!"

MxO had been alerted that The Headline emitting distress signals.. He turned to view his bandmate, but he was missing. Due to the robots' inability to move on their own, this was likely due to vandals or thieves. Maximum alerted authorities immediately, and eventually The Headline was located destroyed at the foot of the Clock Tower.
